Today our moron electrician decided that the best way to collect the outstanding balance on the bill was to turn off the electricity.  When we pointed out that the job was incomplete and that we would not be paying him today, he threatened to put a lien on our house.

That was not a good choice.  The work will be completed tomorrow, and at a 10% discount.

I am so incredibly ready for this project to be finished…

Our shop has these promotional stunts where we double the value of a coupon… And since we had these for 50 % coupons for Force, I used them and paid 10 cent per pack...  And it's good stuff!.. So call me an old lady all you want, I'm happy...

Missed the UPS guy due to being at work but managed to get my girlfriend to meet him on his way back through town. She wasn't happy about being woken up from a nap to go get a package for me.  I get the feeling I'm gonna catch trouble when I get home.

Today is the last Saturday of the UK's School Summer Holidays, so we are taking Tommy to a local kids adventure park called "Wheelgate". I have been informed (by Tommy) that I have to climb all the climbing frames, and go down all the slides with him today…..so I'm leaving the new monster boots at home as I don't want to squash any children

AT&T finally caved in to the extortion agreed to the requests of the Longhorn Network and now every University of Texas football game is available for our home viewing.

I am… ambivalent?  This means I don't have to go to Austin to see any live games, but now I have to watch all of them on TV.  I can't decide which is less objectionable.

Tonight we get UT v. Wyoming.  Yippee...
