I've been meaning to visit the store for awhile now. It's only a few blocks from SESF and I hear they have a whole bunch of fabric to make your own custom shirt for about 200$

as far as the Taylor Stitch dudes they tend to do a 10% off of items on drop day if you are on their mailing list.  not sure how that works in the local area for in-store items or custom make-ups . . . but i haven't had any issues with any of their goods.
