After a lengthy series of rejections from various summer research programs, in fields I was only mildly interested in, an old professor approached me today and offered me a paid position on one of his projects.

I'll be working with a group that's using GPU's to simulate plasma this summer, and until I graduate.  I'm so excited for steady work in my field and not having to worry about balancing multiple jobs during the school year.

Plus, this will greatly help me expand my meager Iron Heart collection!

Also: someone give me the COLLEGUE OF THE YEAR award, please… Didn't have to work today, so went out for some groceries... My collegue was royally fucked and bordering a nervous breakdown  - huge delivery and she was alone, so I helped her for an hour...

Not very exciting, I work for the ministry with, among other things, regulating different rules for different kind of lotteries.
