I wonder if they ever get together on the weekend and LARP (Live Action Role Play) like those dungeon and dragon guys.  I just watched this documentary on those guys and wow… is all I can say.  It's called "Monster Camp" it's on netflix instant if you're interested, it's pretty damn funny.

Yeah I've seen/read a bit about those LARPers, whatever turns them on is fine with me but I always felt that there was a fundamental disconnect between what they are experiencing and the spectacle itself. This is the problem with not living in the future that sci-fi promised us…

i was quite impressed by lundgren's biography though.

That's what wikipedia says about him:

He graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology. He has a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney (1982). He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship  to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1983, but quit after two weeks to pursue acting. He speaks more than five languages: Swedish, English, German, French, Spanish, some Japanese, and some Italian.

shoque, it's amazing how many brainy celebrities there are. Matt Damon is a Harvard dropout. Reese Witherspoon ? Stanford grad. Natalie Portman ? Harvard. Hugh Laurie ? ("Dr. House")…graduated from Cambridge. You see -- these people were not connected before their celebrity -- they got into those schools through sheer brain power and became celebs either after graduation or even before (i.e. Matt Damon didn't feel it was neccessary to finish up at Harvard after "Goodwill Hunting"). They are smart people. On the other hand, in the US, if you are a politician's or multi-millionaire's child -- you can buy yourself a seat at those schools and there are countless examples of those as well.

Well, actors like Matt Damon or Natalie Portman play sophisticated and demanding roles, Dolph Lundgren definitely doesn't.

My point was though that a guy who plays a role in a brainless movie such as Universal Soldier is astonishingly intelligent. Quite a contradiction, isn't it?
