^see mn: wear a dress shirt in any case and maybe rethink the jeans. Hard to write this, but job is conservative and serious business.
What I wore for most of my job interviews: black suit (pinestripe) with turquoise shirt (+tie). Nothing I would even touch in my spare time, but you gotta bite the bullet.

I'm more of the conservative type when it comes to interviews…both interviewing someone and interviewing for a job
Shirt, trousers, tie/suit optional
I use attire as a meterstick for common sense, and if you're going to interview with me, you better not be dressed casual. After I hire you, whatever, but for the interview, I expect a pressed shirt and trousers, and a tie

^well in this case i'm going to meet a more "newschool" kinda woman which is just a few years older as me and which sounded pretty cool on our first phone-interview so that's why i thought the jeans were a thumbs up!…?
Some friends of mine are female, 27 and cool, but would send you back home, if you came in jeans.
