Not a rant, really, so announcements seemed most appropriate. I'm happy that Indigo Proof is doing so well that Rain had to stop taking repair order for the rest of the year. That's fantastic for her, and well deserved, since she does such amazing work. And I'm sure my jeans will be terrific when she's done with them, but I miss my IH-634S.

Bro, we bought the donkey before kid 1 planning on having a big family, and it’s been GREAT!!! Especially now that we live in SF. This thing probably has thousands of miles logged. You should see the amount of shit we can pile on it, too!

Yeah, I consider to be my absolute best financial purchase in life. I did replace the foam handles with the leather ones since I tore ours up stuffing it into the back of my old car.

I was rewatching The Running Man last nite and looked up Richard Dawson's bio. I was surprised to read that he's from Gosport. Don't know if he's considered much of a fixture in town but I will forever remember him from The Family Fued and Hogan's Heroes

Dawson was born Colin Lionel Emm in Gosport, Hampshire, England, on 20 November 1932[1] to Arthur and Josephine Emm. At the age of 14 he ran away from home to join the British Merchant Navy, where he pursued a boxing career.[2] After his discharge, two years later, he began pursuing a comedy career using the stage name Dickie Dawson; when he reached adulthood, he revised this to become Richard Dawson, which he later legally adopted as his real name.

@gaseousclay I watched The Running Man about a month ago, loved that movie when I was a kid and I enjoyed it watching it again many years later.
