I would not wear anything plaid or flannel..

wear the Chambray workshirt - it signals that you value labor and that you are reliable. I would also recommend a pair of slacks - no jeans - and your Aldens.

So - short review after having received my first pair of 21 oz jeans today… It feels so much softer, and looks so much better than any other jeans I have ever felt... Lawd oh lawd - there's no way I'm going back to any other brand... FOGGEDABOUTIT!..

That is a great observation Seul.  Some people think that the 21oz will be overkill, but the way it is constructed, it drapes and breathes well.  It is just such a nice denim….G

It definitely breaths and drapes enormeously well… I've had my share of experience with other brands, up to 19 oz, but must say, again, that the 21 oz IH denim is just perfect. There's no drama at all with these... Discrete and sober; for pur-sang denim lovers!..

Well, court went okaaaaay I guess. I am now playing the waiting game for the next 90 days. If I don't hear from the DA on needing to reappear, the case will be dismissed/ thrown out. Hope that happens! As for what I wore:

I did not read all your recommendations before i left but obviously I went the opposite way. Never felt the suit look was the way to go, especially in a NY criminal court. Seems a bit contrived to me. As for the chambray, I just pictured all of my favorite prison movies and decided against it. Thanks for all the well wishes and PM's!
