IH-526J-142ib - 14oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket - Indigo/Black

@Bailey Great comparison shot!! Will the 526LOD be getting restocked as well?
-
@Nostradamion probably not:

About 3 Months wear over a year and a half and 3 washes on mine. A must have jacket!

Hey Iron Heart Crew, so I'm close to all the measurements in the 2XL in this model except the sleeves; based on the measurements, they seem exceptionally long. I took measurements against my IH-526J-SLBod, and the sleeve length on mine is 26 inches (which fits me good). I'm just wondering if the extra 1.6 inches on the sleeve of the IH-526J-142ib is going to look silly. Will the arm length get shorter by chance once creases set in?
-
@Nostradamion only by a tiny bit. Ask the guys first the closest sleeve possible to 26” and they will confirm what they have found before shipping. When I got mine in last run sleeves were a silly length too but rivet and hide had one nearly an inch shorter
-
@Gavin666 Thanks much for the suggestion; I just sent them an email about this. Hopefully things will work out.
-
@Gavin666 Heard back from Iron Heart, and it looks like they don't have anything close to 26 inches in the sleeve length for this run. Same thing with Rivet and Hide. As much as I like this jacket, I may need to sit this one out. Still debating.

@Nostradamion I have the opposite problem, as I usually find the sleeves too short. I lose around .25” in sleeve length from creasing, depending on the fabric. Some successfully shrink their sleeves by washing on hot with high spin. Between that and asking for a shorter sleeve, I’m confident you’ll get something that makes you happy. If all else fails, some cuff their sleeves or get them tailored.
I’ve been looking to purchase a denim Iron Heart Type III jacket for about two years, but the sleeves have always been too short for me. I just purchased this jacket because the measurements are more ideal for me. I would recommend signing up for restocks, as most of Iron Heart’s jackets will probably have better measurements for your body. I embrace and appreciate the variance in sizing because it means more people can ultimately find their perfect fit, but it can require some extra patience.

@Conan Glad to hear this one worked out for you. I'll be interested to see some real life photos from people who purchased this model. I'm still on the fence, but realistically am thinking this may not work out for me.
