I typically buy a pair cheapish shoes to wear each summer, preferably in an unusual color. I couldn't find a pair I like this year, so I decided to make my own this year. These started life as a plain white pair of PF Flyers Center Lo. Some fabric paint and a couple of hours later, they looked like this.
Not a perfect paint job, but overall, I'm happy with them. -
They look factory. Nice work. Great evo potential.

I've never painted a pair of shoes before, so it will be interesting to see what happens with them over time.

Thank you! The similarity to denim wearing is strong. Like wearing a pair of IH for at least 1000 wears, this paper has well over 1000 hours into it, spread out over the course of four years. It's definitely not commercial art. It's more of a temple for personal evolution. I could've stopped multiple times along the way and left it as it was, but I kept drawing over it again and again, so it was definitely not a linear evolution. Just a make it up as you go experience.
