          @Morose_Penguin:

          What is the deciding factor on whether a particular fabric or pattern becomes a western or a work shirt (or both)? And is it just one person's decision or is input taken from all areas?

          Sorry if this has been asked before, I've been wondering for a while.

          Fabric weight can be a factor; Westerns look good with snaps and a light material could not support snaps. Also, works shirts are more suited to buttons (a corollary to the above)

                      For what it's worth…BB release 12/7/10, no help with the mystery of the 17th. Funny I have thought about this more than once and always thought it was the Buster's. Great question BK.

                          Hey was wondering about the summer months coming up fast.  I plan on grin & bearing it with my 25oz fekkers  the entire summer.  Will my sweat have any negative effect on the denim?

                            Depends on what you perceive as negative. They certainly might begin to get a smell (Not a good thing IMO). They will fade a whole lot faster during the Summer months (Not a bad thing IMO).

                              except that your jeans are going to smell pretty bad after some weeks of sweaty wear…i don´t think so,no!

                                Yes smell is bad but as long as the sweat doesn't damage the denim im good.  I plan on washing them towards the end of summer anyways around month 5 or 6.  I'll continue to air them out & spray some fabreze until then.  Thanks L

                                        The problem with sweat is that when it dries, it leaves behind salt residue, which is abrasive as hell.  This is one of the reasons those folks in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, etc. get dramatically fast wear.

                                        Evo/wear is a double edged sword- it looks cool, but it is the steady destruction of the denim that gives it that look.  Fast wear = shorter lifespan.  Your call as to which is more important.

                                          I'm not a fan of smelling like my father in law, and I'm even less a fan of being sweaty, so that's the reasons why I'm going to retire my 25oz for the summer. But yes, salt is incredibly abrasive. Any type of crystal is abrasive.

                                          To each their own, though
