You can ask us as many questions as you want with the exception of questions like this:

"I wear an L in a off Mongolian camel hair and alpaca vest I bought 65 years ago in a street market in Moscow, whay size will I be in Iron Heart"

But, in all honesty the best thing to do is what we suggest under the sizing tab:
Important: The best way to determine the size you need, is to measure a similar item you already own and compare with the actual sizing as per the table below. Do not go by tagsize alone.

To see how we measure click on the "How we Measure" tab (on every product page.

If you still have questions after doing this, then drop us an email.

If you are a first time customer, Matt will see this when you place your order and he will be cross examine you about how sure you are that you have ordered the correct size anyway.

Getting sizing wrong, pisses us off as much as it pisses you off.  We try to avoid it at all costs.

Thanks guys. I'm quite large of thigh (and calf) and I have a nightmare finding jeans hence my hesitance buying blind.
I suppose the problem is; I don't think I own a pair which fit me perfectly and I don't know how IH/TW will stretch.

If you have large thighs then the 1955S are effectively your only option.

Work out what is wrong with your existing jeans and look at the sizing chart.

I assume you mean the duck baseball cap.

What size fitted hat do you wear? I wear a new era fitted in 7.5 (hipster style) next size down for a fitted normal look. If you have a bigger head than that it will not fit. The leather strap is maxed out on mine and does not protrude out of the metal clasp. I love it.

Not to worry old chap the response was greatly appreciated nonetheless!  I did check out the duck cap but as I have a massive forehead the only caps that seem to fit me without looking ridiculous are engineer caps 😞

I did check this link out earlier but the post is from 2011 so I sadly may have missed the boat! May just give them a shout though!

                        Cheers for the response dude.

                          Monday,

I'm looking into buying a quality pair of jeans . .  . if you can tell me what makes a pair of jeans good quality that would be great. Also why do you favor ironheart denim? I look forward to your reply 🙂

Figure this is one of those questions a lot of folks might want to take a crack at. I wish I could tell you what makes a quality pair of jeans, but in my experience they all wear out the same.  I'm sure it's not everyone's experience, but I'm just keeping it 100% with you. Now my take on Iron Heart is pretty straight forward.  I like them & so I purchase them.  It doesn't hurt that the company listens to it's customer & are just genuine people.  I know my answer may be a bit simple. . . . but that's really my take on it.  Maybe a few others will see this & take a crack at sharing their reasons.  No matter what you decide good luck on the hunt.

                            Of course man.

There's one I've long admired, not in duck, but in horse blanket, and made by John Lofgren, who is always outstanding quality: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/speedway-shop/item/lc-021/

Why would a company make a pair if jeans with the material used completely inside out. Saw it on a site earlier this week and seems like a tremendously terrible idea. I'm sll about outside the box, but this just seems downright silly

I'm a bit nervous…. A package that is scheduled to be delivered today from IHUK is currently on a UPS truck for delivery in a town approximately 45 minutes from me... Anyone had something similar happen? My packages from IHUK have never taken this route before....

*decided to contact ups who told me they are not sure why my package is in a different city and showing out for delivery. When I asked if they could call the service center they told me they can not do that, and that it "will probably get to me." When I asked if she was telling me they can not call the center to track the package down and make sure it gets to me, she again stated no. So I asked if I could speak to a manager of the dept. at which time she let out a huge sigh and become very attitudinal and told me they are just going to say the something. After 15 minutes on hold, she's back on the line, not the department manager and tells me "yes, he said the same thing" I tell her I asked to speak to a manager and she says, " I know so I spoke to him for you," I said, "no ma'am I asked to speak directly to a manager." At which time she again became very temperamental and told me fine she will connect me. I ended up getting her customer rep Id number before she set to connect me. Afterwards, she disconnected me.

                                        Awesome.... Gonna be a Monday

Fortunately that lady was very friendly and within 30 minutes she was able to track it down, and reroute it. It's now on it's way and should be here this afternoon.
