Can any leather experts give me an opinion on diamond Dave's stuff? I really like the style of his buco and at 900 with nice-looking horsehide it seems like a damn good deal. Comparable jackets from flat head/Himel are twice that or a little less… Are they really on different levels?

it appears the price difference would be veg tanned (himel and the flathead) versus the horween stuff he's using
both fine leathers but a big price difference
as to the rest of it you'd have to see it up close or in construction
but good looking jackets
