My dad started smoking when he was 8.  My entire childhood he did ±2 packs a day.  Finally quit when he was around 60.  Never too late, as long as you have the will.

i smoked a pack a day for years….quit cold turkey one day. the key, as I told my friends, is that i didnt try to quit. I just woke up and quit. If you don't really want to quit...it will never work.

I quit back in 2011. Past few months I've had some smokes....bachelor party.....then wedding.....then when i got drunk one night.....then when I was just drinking. I'm keeping an eye on it, I don't mind having a smoke when I drink, but I worry about my addictive personality.

I smoked a pack a day for 10 years. I quit 4 years ago cold turkey and never looked back. Before that I quit a hundred times, it was easy 😉

Well I'll keep you guys posted… He's on his third day now... His Cranky-Little-Bitch Lvl is now at about 2 (out of 10)... And I only brought it up to 2 as he didn't wave back at me at 7 am this morning as he left for work... In all fairness: had he done that to me, I would've knocked his block of...

i can count on my hand the amount of white folks i know that smoked/smoke menthol cigs.

Add another one to your list, madman. I smoked Benson & Hedges Menthols for a few years. I constantly had clerks telling me I was the youngest person to buy them by 30 or 40 years; which told me I was on to something. Haven't had a cigarette in nearly four years now, though.

Oh, and best of luck to your brother, Seul. Quitting will be one of the best (and toughest) things he will do for himself in his life.

I'll send over some Tim Tams if he makes it, for reals, those things are like a pack of smokes each when you factor in shipping costs..

I looked here as well as elsewhere, and am not finding the specific info I seek. As a newbie I lucked out finding a perfect pair out of the gate, the 666 is exactly my  preferred cut. Thighs aren't too big for my lanky frame, while the hem still works to get over my boots, the rise even sits spot on where I prefer. Let's assume this is the only pair of pants I own that fit me. Let's also assume that in a month or so I plan to remedy the problem. Given I am getting familiar with IH/TW and have scoped this brand for what I want, given the fit parameters, what else would others suggest? I am looking for real variety, maybe a all American, something black(I like seperate weft and warp color), possibly a chino, I am pretty much a blank slate. I want to stay over 14oz in denim, and keep within the cut, but don't have many other barriers. Also if there is anything to avoid I want to hear it and why as well.

If 666 is your fit, you are in luck because there are a lot of variations of that cut. I'd explore versions of different weight and color. You can go 19 oz, 21, 25, and soon 21/23. You can also go indigo or superblack.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, and the ducks and a couple other IH/TW items are on the list. However, what I am looking for is similar cuts outside of IH/TW. Similar quality and cut, but on the lighter side, chino, denim, black, indigo, whatever.

Still looking for suggestions, remember summer weight. If the 666L wasn't extinct I likely would skip this, but that's the dues you pay when you're late to the party.

With a name like this, he has to be in Minneapolis. North Star impllies MN and 612 is our area code. Let me know if I can somehow help.

Thanks to those that helped with the above questions, but after weighing everything, I think the TW666N will work better than anything else I'm seeing. Should make G happy when I get there, as it now makes the planned purchase 4 deep.
