My brother apparently had a MyBook WD external disk at a mate for a year or two… But the USB cable is missing... His mate is gonna look for it but let's just say he's not known for his organisational skills...

All WD disks have different cables… There is no such thing as a universal cable, that would of course be much too convenient...

aha. maybe you can find one for that special type of WD and order it separately…

I don't even know whether this is 1 TB or 1.5 TB… All I can go by is the IDs on the tag of the socket. I'll see if that helps tonight...

Ok BAM!.. Registered my disk at WDs… Apparently it's a 2TB MyBook Essential 3.0 USB. Ordered a cable for it on eBay.

I'd probably drop it back a little, but I do like to slide in on the underside of dressed. Thankfully my mind gets me through areas my standard of dress alone would not ;). That shirt looks a little dressy to me.
