I certainly am, more sorry I missed the bachelor party though  😶

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

Sweat more than likely damages denim over time (where are ya Doug Ng?) but heat and humidity works wonders with fading. Just check out any number of jeans from Indonesia. My jeans take a leap forward in evo anytime I'm in Hong Kong.

I'm not a fan of smelling like my father in law, and I'm even less a fan of being sweaty, so that's the reasons why I'm going to retire my 25oz for the summer. But yes, salt is incredibly abrasive. Any type of crystal is abrasive.

          To each their own, though

This is so true..Iv slept in mine a few times early on.  When i wake up my jeans are a lot more stiff and abrasive …I had no clue it was because of the sweat.  I def don't want to smell BUT i'll give it a whirl and if they start to smell i'll wash em then.  My pair is moving along pretty well right now so a premature wash won't be that bad.  Thanks for the info I definitely got my answer 😉

For those of you with a bunch of pairs or Giles, what's the most comfortable IH jean, right from the beginning..

I have the 634s, 666s and 801s and the 634s were by far the most comfortable right from the beginning. The 801s didn't take very long and I'm still working on the 666s  🙂

You know you want to create an IH version of my father in laws shirt…

                    With the dice...

                    And the cards...

                    And the chips...

                    And the martinis...

                    And the flames...

Pretty much sounds like a shirt from Dry Bones or RJB.

                      21oz flagship. It's on a number of jeans (634s, DC4001, B01, 461s)

That's compared to 18oz unsanforized, 21/23oz unsanforized, 25oz XHS sanforized, and cotton duck

21oz flagship sanforized in OD feels about the same for me

Thanks. I'll probably bring a few Tylenol PM to put me to sleep. Never taken any of those pills you suggested before unfortunately. I usually can't fall asleep, so I'm going to bring some sort of sleep aid for sure. My biggest fear, which isn't horrible by any means, is having something to charge all my apple gear haha. I have all the adapters lets just hope they have the ports.

I did New York to Hong Kong in coach this year which was about 16 and a half hours… I was dreading it but traveling with friends makes a big difference and it wasn't so bad - your body just kind of adjusts.  Ambien is a good call.  A really good set of headphones will help too.  Also an eye mask and earplugs to sleep. By mid June this year I will have flown over 65,000 miles this year...

Thanks everyone. Don't worry I won't be taking any prescription drugs. Especially, before a job.

reasonable not to try any new med before a job, but if you're taking tylenol pm for sleep the tylenol is completely unnecessary just get some benadryl.

aspirin and occasional walking is to prevent a blood clot, and seriously I would do that for such a long flight

I do not work on the plane and I avoid conversation.  You do not want to fly with me, I am the worlds most boring companion on a plane.

I'm basically the same minus the sleep. I'm usually head first in a movie or TV show the whole time and can't ever remember talking to the people I sit next to.

Tomorrow, I have a 6hr flight to LA, 1hr30 layover, and then 15hrs to Sydney. On the way back next Saturday it's 19hrs straight  😢 😢 😢 :o

And thanks again to everyone for the advice.
