I would say that if the primary objective is reading text then get something with an e-ink display (no back light and very naturalistic to read). For example the new Kindle Fire is basically an Android tablet (touch screen and what not), this rather defeats the whole purpose of ebooking IMO.
+1
It seems like the displays of dedicated e-readers are easier on the eyes.

Bought the ebook in a local book store for ~100bucks. Totally suits her needs!
The only "problem" is,that it has no WiFi/UMTS…but I figured she would use her notebook for such things...
So yeah,it's all goodThanks again to Doug,Jon and Jaco!!!

I've only washed my IHSH-20 to shrink it, my 16 cause I spilt ink on it, and 27 because it's a raw shirt…
No real need to wash mine: always wear an undershirt, always keep myself clean.
It helps that you live someplace cool. El lives in the sweaty, sweaty South. Around these parts, not washing your shirts is either a sign of scary poor hygiene or impressively careful wear. I'm sure El falls in the second category.:)

Yeh, I've completely given up on strict washing guide lines, except the more obvious ones with denim. I just wash virtually everything at 30 degrees, with a low spin and hang dry, whether it cost £5 or £500.

I don't see a point in washing clothes when they don't smell… I work in them, so they're bound to get dusty and whatever... No care... Same for jeans and jackets... And boots... They get cleaned once, maybe twice a year...
Trust me: if any of your god-damned babies or dogs would shit on my IHSH-50 I would wash it…

^I'm with you here. I only wash my stuff when it needs it. As long as there's no smell or stains I don't do it. And as I wear my Flannels only when it's cold, I don't sweat in them.
