@monday: anyone has some Real Japan Blue 66BSPBK? let's see them please. they make me think of the SBGs, before the SBGs  oh & any thoughts on Stevenson Overall Co., a brand that I think Self Edge is picking up in the near future? I'm really liking the look of their khaki's. (With the exception of the dip in the back pockets.)

Geo, the standard that we and all of the Japanese companies that I know of, use oz per square yard, so width of bolt irrelevant…. every day i learn something new - thanks G so to get the weight a piece of raw cloth 1 yard square is weighed (and the same cloth sanforised is cut to 1 yard square and weighed in a similar manner)?

hmmm, strange way to meassure things (you are an engineer as well, Geo, am I right?). Thank you. I was comparing my work clothes (300 grams / m^2) to IH gear. yup - an engineer . . . and i couldn't get my head around wtf a unit of mass was being used to measure density but i think Mr G has cleared that up for me

nope all that stuff is Iron Heart powered. i keep it Iron Heart as it's proven. . . tend to get disaponted when i buy other brands & their product is good but not up to the standards i have become used to  oh & how is it decided what items come in 35 w. some 35s in any new worker trousers would be a good thing

We did a small run of 634S in 35. They sold slowly, so we stopped. I did the TWHR01 in 35 and they sold reasonably well. The issues with not doing it more regularly are: No retailers will take them (indeed, I have a few retailers that only take even waist sizes, period) Haraki wont sell them (as it back fired on him in Japan when he tried it with the 634S) So I have to take all that are made, which means that I have to hold more stock etc etc etc
