You were correct it was @trail and arrow I messaged him and I'm glad to say he's coming to G'port in September. Thanks again @Filthy

It was the wording and centered text. He uses colorful phrases like "Brotherhood of the bib" Filthy super-sleuth! Haha glad I was right! Cheers buddy.

It can be more tax efficient.  But most important is that you are removing liability from you personally to the company.  So for eg, if your business went bust or was sued, your personal assets are safe.

Your accounts will be more complex, so your accountancy fees will be higher.

so based on my experience in taxation law (in australia at the very least), you get benefits from running a business as a seperate entity. firstly, like what others have mentioned, you seperate your personal assets from the business. secondly, you choose to give yourself a "wage", so you can enjoy personal income tax benefits. depending on what the corporate tax rate is for a business, you can "choose" whichever that benefits you.

being a seperate entity as well, you enjoy tax deductions as expenses for your company. so you could you company expenses to gain tax deductions. depending on how you set up your corporate structure, you could end up paying less tax overall compared to being self employed..

Level of benefit all fluctuates depending on nation but all of the above apply.  Even if you don't take advantage of the wage/expense tax benefits the ability to shield yourself and your personal assets from liability is worth setting up the LLC.
