        @Joe:

        Hey Iron Hearts,

I'm glad to be on this forum. I recently purchased my first pair of IH 666N in size W32 L36. While I trailed the fit, I also tried the 777S-14oZ. I found that a bit bulgy on the front hip, but the rest was good. So the sales assistant gave me the 666N and asked me to try that out. It was perfect, except for the fact that I find it a little bit bulky beyond the knee area.

I'm contemplating now to exchange the 666N for the 777S, but I need to know about a couple of things:

        1. If I keep my 666N, would it shrink or expand after washing?
        2. I'm a skinny guy weighing over 65kg and 180cm tall. I do not prefer to wear bulky denims. Is there a default weight and height to denim fit kind of a chart from Iron Heart?
        3. How would altering the denim beyond the knee area to make it tapered look like? Would the denim be ruined if I let it done?

If I exchange my 666N for the 777S,

        1. Would the 777S expand or shrink after a couple of washes?

Thanks Iron Hearts for taking time to read through!

        1. This denim will shrink a little on the first wash, and stretch out afrerwards.
        2. Look here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/cuts/
        3. Lots of people do this.

        1. This will not shrink and will stretch some.

        I agree.

          Thanks for the reply guys.

What would be the difference between the 555's compared to the 777's? I do not want extreme slim fit! I would appreciate your reply! I'm already convinced to exchange the 666N!

555's have a higher rise and more fitted top-block than 777's. They still taper but not as aggressively. Imho, IH don't do "extreme" slim fits.

neph93, I thank you very much for the post.

From the shop where I would buy them, they say that the 555N would shrink after wash. Is this true?

I have the 555 in the 21oz, so I don't have much experience with this denim. IH's own page says the -N denim shrinks a little (not as much as raw) and stretches past shrunken measurements: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-555n.html

Perfect! I have gone through the sizing charts of the 555, 666 and 777! I would go for the 555N-14oz! Thanks for the post once again! May I ask you a request! Could you post a picture of your 555N?

Waist size 32 fits me perfectly fine. Should I size it down a bit? Should I get my 555N with waist 31 to allow for the 1 inch expansion? What do you guys think?

                            Hi!

Is there any chance to get two of the original anchor buttons for the pea coat mentioned above? In Germany? Thank you for your help in advance. I've bought that coat in New York … so it's difficult to replace them. 😠

                            Kind regards

I like the B's in UHR. A higher rise & more room up top with the slimmer  cut below. Of course if you're as lanky as some of the feckers here 🙂  😶 that might not matter.  I'm lusting after the BB in 18oz myself.  Along with the 101 in 18 and enough others to convince me I've got a problem…and it's a bad one. With apologies to the late Gil Scott-Heron.

Go for either 634-UHR or the BB-UHR since you already know the 21oz (634-BLK only being its black counterpart). The UHR is a hell of a fabric: full of character, tough at first but then comfy to the max.
