Here are my 461 purchased about a year or so ago.  although a lot of folks sleep on these i love them with my dusty timbs.  The bottoms are wet, can you say snowday

The flare (which there is not much of) is uniform from the knee down.  This means that the selvedge does NOT show on the outseam. These are pretty low rise and the thighs are quite tight.  G

really not much flare & they are a great wearing jean. if i were you i would continue the course with your bids on the auction pair (crotch rivet alone makes them worth it in my eyes)

okay here they go rough & rugged flicks just to give you an idea of the fit & i even threw on a green shirt to make it more like it's u  :D:

as you can see they faded really nicely for the amount of wear i put into them (about 7 or 8 months of wear & washed at least 4 times after the 5 month mark)

i'm 5 feet 8 inches tall about 215 & the pair i'm wearing are a 36 waist & the inseam has been shortened to about a 32.  another person that wears these is injunjack, might want to check out some of his posts, & he is a male model

i think they are a good look.  i would of put on boots but i'm lazy as hell & actually just remembered i told max i would throw up a fit flick of these babies.

imho they do look a lot better with boots or chunky footwear

I'm approx same size as our Mr Black Monday. 5 feet 7 and 171. I'm wearing 32"W hemmed to 31.5 (if I remember correctly) Mine are 461, non selvage. So these are a bit looser in thighs tha 461S's
