I have a pair of 14oz in black but tempted by these.

I know check the measurements when they are available, but any random advice is most welcome.

Thing is my first IH jeans are size 40 888 xhsib. I sized up when my usual size is 38 and I am very happy that I did. They have a relaxed fit on me. I could have definitely pulled off 38. I do enjoy the 40 and for the purpose of the XHSib the size is perfect.

I've been reading a lot about 21oz stretching a lot and I am worried if I size these the same as my XHSib I'd end up with jeans too relaxed.

Anyone got experience with both? I do prefer a relaxed fit but the stretch talk got me thinking maybe I should aim for my usual 38 with the coming release of these.

@Northman. Jeans stretch according to how much pressure you put on them.. So past checking measurements I wear the same tag size on XHS and 21 once. Rule of thumb is measure the Xhsib you have now after its been worn for a while and pick a size with slightly smaller measurements so the end result after wear will be the same

@yannis That is good advice thanks. I think I will probably lean towards the same tag size as my XHSib for long term comfort. Ofc given that the measurements don't drastically differ. 🙂
