@Qinhan Great work copping the last small.  Look forward to hearing how you get on with the jacket and seeing some fit pics!

        @Qinhan:

Just copped the last in size small.  These have been very popular except in the larger sizes.

I've been on the hunt for a high quality Harrington for a long time.  I wasn't particularly impressed with the Barracuta original and the Private White VC one, while having superb craftsmanship and materials, didn't have the fit I was after.  Hopefully this one works for me.

_I have been hunting for a simple but sharp, lighter weight navy jacket in a versatile/classic style, for a surprisingly long time. This looks pretty ace…  Love the plain back over the Barracuta's umbrella, which is why I passed on a G9 in my search.

Is this the same 65/35+Moifit set-up as the F/W Mountain parkas?_

^ From the child boards for the SS20 releases; so we are absolutely on the same page.

Sizing is very generous, as I am down to a Medium from my usual XL. Let us know if the cut offers the fit you were after!

Mofit is not used in the construction of this jacket.

65/35 describes the composition of the shell, Mofit is the additional intermediate membrane that we use on the Mountain Parka.

This jacket is water-resistant as opposed oe the Parka which is waterproof.

Will do.  I'm usually M in outerwear and S in shirting so sized down for this one.  I'm also usually one size down from whatever size Sam wears.  Measurements looked pretty good except for the chest which seemed a little larger than usual.  Will report back once it arrives.

I only sized down one from my regular size so hopefully this still works.  As I noted above, chest measurements look big but everything else seems fine.  Definitely liking the cleaner lines and design of this one over other manufacturers.

Qinhan I picked up the other small.  I had the same thoughts as you.  I usually am one size down from Sam, but the P2P looked a little larger than usual.  Though the jacket looks like it’s meant to fit a bit roomy there.  I’m expecting it to fit just fine.

Agree. Please let us know your thoughts on the fabric; I'm not usually a fan of synthetic materials, but they can certainly be very well made… (I'm thinking about your opinion since I know you have an IHJ-38.)

Damn, Navy sold through quickly. Only hesitance I have with black is that I have so many black pieces. We will see.

I'm not too worried about the high polyester content of this piece.  I won't be wearing it in warm weather so breathability isn't a huge concern.  I seem to recall that Barracuta uses a similar blend of polyester/cotton in their version and it wasn't the material that I disliked, only the cut and fit on me.  Will definitely report back after I receive it.

Jacket arrived today, perfect fit. Really nice quality. Went with my regular IH jacket size of xxl, didn’t size down.

Here’s a horrible fit pic. I’m 6’3” 190lbs if that helps on sizing.

Looks like a good fit from what I can see.  It's a little dark in the photo so hard to tell with the black jacket.

This jacket looks and feels great! I sized down to XS and was a little worried when I opened the package because it looked tiny. Fit was really good though, with just a tee under. Feels lika my normal size would fit well too though.

Love both the tartan lining and the sleeve lining (satin or nylon?)

It's a grey area.  Satin technically is a type of weave.  It can be made from cotton, rayon, silk or nylon.  Though some definitions insist the satin be made from silk.

                                    Ours is made from nylon.

Was too slow to pull the trigger on this jacket, specifically the navy color.  Any chance of a restock?

5'9" approx 185lb… deciding between L and XL... I wear XL in most IH shirts both western and workshirts...

Both fit ok... notable differences to me are that L is a tiny bit tight across the shoulders/chest when I cross my arms and the XL is noticably longer on me.

                                          Leaning towards XL... opinions?

ISO: IHSH-170 or IHSH-193 in size XXL
