My wife has been doing a lot of sewing projects lately. I've never found a dress shirt that I was 100% happy with, so she started playing around with patterning for me to get her menswear shirting down. This was her first go at shirting for me, and she made it with a vintage cotton fabric that a relative bought 30-40 years ago and never used, tonal poly thread, and dyed coconut buttons. I like how she got the pattern matching of placket and pocket literally as good as possible, and the fit couldn't be better. Pairs well with my super worn 18 oz 555s, an Ebbets / Brickstore Pub hat, and her most ridiculous sunglasses.
My closet is almost exclusively Iron Heart, so we joked about getting a custom "Iron Daria" tag to add to it.

Even though the weather is shite, it’s a glorious day as kids are back in school for first time in 11 days, and I am able to get back to the office.

Happy Fall equinox @Brock and everyone.My wife has an at home business in the spiritual realm and we had a party this past weekend to celebrate the Equinox. we served fall appetizers and made smudge sticks with fresh herbs from the garden.

We’ve had the first of our autumn storms here (not the falling tree, moody sky, weird light in the pics). Not quite hurricane season but gusts of about 40-60m/s and buckets of rain. The biggest issue though is that they tend to last a week. So WAYWT has not been graced by my dubious presence for a while….

@Palmer I adore this jacket and a lot of people comment positively on it. I've just been in touch with @Smiladon on IG who said kind things and promised him some close ups on the forum. It is very heavy duty and exceptionally robust and quite faked up. It has the underlying tan creeping through a number of places.
However, I can't take much credit for that as it has only been mine for a year. The previous owner has clearly treated it with an appropriate lack of respect. He lives in Gosport and runs the international arm of a certain premium denim brand. Goes by the name of Niles Radmore (or something like that…) ::)
