i have already hot soaked and machine washed these once to get shrinkage out but i'm preparing for if they'll shrink more of if they'll slightly shorten when the combs set

OK…
SR is quite loose cut, so combs have minimal effect on lenght as they won't be so prononunced.

You might get a very slight shrinkage in lenght still. My exprience with 21/23oz denim is that 2 hot machine washes will get the shrinkage out...

I left a "Reserve" of about 2.5 inches after two soaks with agitation and hemming to approx 33.5 inseam in mine.

I got them re-hemmed! But right now, the hip flare is killing me!! I can't wait for the denim comp to start so I can wear these til they soften!

leg twist on the left leg is set at a 90 degree angle  hahaa. i couldnt go a tag lower, post-soak measured 31.75". hurt too much, my hips don't lie. thanks though raf, still trying to decided for the hwdc2

i actually tossed them in the washer on 40degrees on a gentle cycle for 2hours. it's lost all of its shrinkage. shrank to the point where selvage on the leg twist hits a perfect 90.

how' the fit though

hem them, after they're relaxed ( which is somewhere far ahead) they'll drape much nicer.

More pictures! Finally getting the combs and whiskers in! Somehow these have already started to fade with less than a week of wear!
