@AdamJ - on that note, I have also noticed a bit of sole separation on some of my 990v6 NB. Hope they aren't skimping on the glue these days, as I feel like NB is really starting to push up on Nike - although that's just an observation - no actual data to support that statement.

@MTpockets they have got way more popular in recent years. Back when I was in high school, you wouldn't be seen rocking NB if you could avoid it

@AdamJ - yes miUSA are supposed to be higher quality...although the issues I've seen are on those versions too. Granted I wear the shit out of them. Bottom line - it's not gonna stop me from wearing NB. I dig the 990v6 and 992 miUSA waaay too much.

Due to my considerable sneaker collection I tend to not wear the same pair twice in a row ever so they stay in fair shape. A pair of J Crew x NB I got in 2011 just started to separate

The 992s are pretty great. I have two pair now and love them. I went tts but they’re very roomy. I probably could go down a half size but like the extra toe room. if you’re on the edge between sizes it wouldn’t hurt.

Found these well worn miusa 992 in the closet while cleaning and rearranging for my girlfriend moving in. Totally forgot I had them. Cleaned them a bit and will put em back in rotation.
