Somewhere in the $400+ range? :D. The non-OD IH-526J-142 is listed at $375 and the 526Lod is $475. Of course, i'm just guessing. All will be revealed tomorrow

Quite a shrinkage on the XL. I take it @Giles would be an XXL in this?
Also, how many XXLs (and others) are for sale?

The XXL is this seems better for me than the old 19oz XXL dims, so hopefully I'll be free when it goes live.

Denim will always stretch where pressure is applied…Though because of the construction of the shoulder (felled seam), this will limit the fabrics ability to stretch as much as in non-stitched areas...
That’s reasonable.
It was more out of curiosity as I’ve noticed that the 526-14 is slim shouldered too so wondered why they measure up smaller than their ‘beefier’ counterparts.

If I started calling this one the "West Coast OD" and the 526Lod the "Midwest OD," would that maybe catch on? I may just try anyways

I'm similar, with 5 Type 3/101s and a Type 3 vest, but unless you have another OD, then it's only polite to buy one to get closer to completing the set. Then you have the different weights of the same style to collect…

It landed today and I'm happier than I expected to be. Sizing up was the wise thing and even the sleeves, though long, aren't long enough to need turning back. The feel of the lighter jacket is very nice indeed and even my wife likes it from the off. Once it loses the stiffness and wrinkles up a bit, it'll look even better. I'm going to hammer this now and will see how quickly it develops.
