I hope it's not an iPhone because new models will be launched in just eight days which will make the prices of all the previous models drop.

It is an iPhone XR but my phone dealer offered it to me under the table at $200 less than the going rate because of the new ones coming in. I’ve been with him since the iPhone 2 so he takes care of me.

EDIT: just did the conversion, actually $168 less. I got over the need to have the latest model about four phones ago. As long as it is better than my last one I'm happy, and my last one was a standard iPhone 8. The Xr is a lot of fun so at the price, I'm quite pleased.

Sounds reasonable and for a good price it's a nice upgrade (FaceID works really well and the gesture controls are awesome). It's a pretty decent phone and I wanted to buy it for my father when it came out last year but he insisted to keep his old LG.

@dau That is the IHSH-163 in olive green. It came out in black and grey too. It’s a wool mix fabric in an atypical work shirt cut. Wonderful shirt. Haraki-san should do more wool.
