I'm fantasizing about wearing these right now. I imagine them being uncomfortable because I sized down. I'm so excited for these.

A black leather patch (e.g. like on the 9666Z) and navy arcs for the 555XHSib as well have my vote, too. Note that the 21 oz SuperBlack denim is pretty rigid and can stand on its own so I imagine the XHSib is gonna be pretty tough as well. Tougher than the usual XHS.

Edit: also the embossed text would probably stay black and crack. Because it is below the surface protecting it from any friction.

Yeah it’s def rigid but the UHR is more so IMO.

I imagine them looking close to @Brock 's pair when fully trashed- but with ever darker lowlights and a black inside.

I think the indigo is gonna fade pretty fast imo. The Black won’t fade at all…. but we’ll
See soon. I sent them to indigo proof for hemming. Have em back in about a week.

Considering it’s the regular indigo 25oz denim for the warp. That fades relatively quickly and with high contrast. However, I think the black weft will downplay that. Only time will tell. Matt has to get that pair back and start living in them 24/7 since were all so damn curious. This is like the coolest science denim experiment ever
