My backpiece is 99% done, time for a short recap. We might just do some corrections the next time and redo some outlines. The pain is trying to keep me from further projects, but I think I will continue on my ribs pretty soon.
Everything was hand drawn in 2 hours.

Well, just now seeing this thread! Here's what I started late October last year. Goes all the way down my butt cheeks, but I decided to spare you gents, lol. This was the first session, 5.5hrs of outlining. I plan to extend all the way down to my knee puts, for now, and eventually have a full irezumi.

That's an impressive piece @Max Power. Glad to see it (almost) done at last.
Look on the bright side, there's less to your ribs than your back, so they won't hurt for quite so long.

Thanks all. @graeme yeh that's what i thought too, but she planned 5 sessions on each side as well, as we might go down to the upper thighs as well.
@UnTucked looks like a perfect start!I found the bum and kidneys to be pretty gnarly, hopeit's fine for you. keep us posted, I'm really looking forward to the progress.

After getting some terrible tattoos as a 17 year old [emoji85], I'm now doing something about them.
Currently I'm having some stuff removed by laser and I'm in the process of a full Japanese sleeve that is covering some.
I'm pleased so far with the progress!
