Decided to try out Scarpa sneakers influenced by the pics and opinions on this forum. These are my first pair and they felt comfy out of the box. I also like their look and feel in hand. These are the Margarita model. The left shoe in the pics shows accurate grey color.
IHSH-666D, Thunders Love socks, Scarpa Margarita
FYI - these are made in China according to info on the shoe box. I bought these online from Moosejaw (first ever purchase from them) and received excellent customer service and shipping.

actually I am not an expert in sneakers
I am wearing my TSPTRs in rotation with other sneakers. My personal opinion is so that they are very good canvas sneakers, they are well build using good materials. I would like to list some pluses and minuses:

good quality
nice clean look
durablewhen it gets very hot(like more than +25 degrees by Celsius), they starting to be too hot for my feet, I am trying to wear them when it is not very hot outside.
they are quite expensive for canvas sneakers. for the similar price you could easily buy leather/suede sneakers, they could be a good option as well.take a look at:

Adidas Pureboost Go. Not the best looking shoe, but ultra comfortable and pretty inoffensive looks for a running shoe.

Asics GL3 Handmade in Japan 1 of 255. Veg tan leather. gave it some oiling and clean today. quite happy with its ageing..

The Sole Rebels venture ended up a bust… I ended up requesing and getting a refund from paypal. I think there is a conflict in Ethiopia and they haven't responded to my emails in 7 weeks...

I totally forgot about this, but as soon as I saw you post to this thread, I instantly remembered this whole thing! I figured you had received them and were showing them off.

I am disappointed for sure
PayPal has always given me my money back anytime there is a dispute. I really appreciate them a lot.
