@Johnnyutah247 I have the benefit of living not far from IHUK. Went with the biggest p2p and shortest sleeve they had in a large. They measured pretty much every one. Very happy with the fit.

@Niney nice! Just curious, what are the measurements? I ordered L and will hopefully get larger shoulders and chest than what’s on the chart too.

@Niney I went with an XXL. I'm typically between an XL and XXL on all ironheart flannels and jackets. I have the 17oz duck type 3 and the 19oz LHT both in XXL and both fit pretty well with room to layer. I'm hoping for a fit close to yours for this one. Something a little more trim.

@Chibs I've just done a quick measure, seems spot on from the table. Shoulder wasn't a measure i asked to be checked. If memory serves me well they came across a few variables with chest and sleeve length.

@Johnnyutah247 I went for trim also (my previous jacket was not). I can do it up easily with a t shirt (lose some skin doing so, buttons holes are stiff). I can comfortably wear my UHF underneath with it open. So very happy with the sizing.

@Chibs I'm not going to lie, I struggle with sleeve lengths in most IH shirts. Something I have to live with by folding sleeves over. With 21oz jacket I didn't want to have this problem. So I am thrilled it sits nice on my wrist! Can't wait to hear and possibly see how yours fits. Enjoy!

So I ended up ordering a size Large and XL to cover my grounds and in the notes I told them to try and find 18.5 shoulders, around 22" chest and sleeves no longer than 25.7. Those are the exact measurements of my 14oz type 3 that I bought last year. Had lucid dreams last night they weren't able to get my size.
Woke up this morning and got their closest measurements in both sizes. Both no bueno! I was gutted, but all hope wasn't lost! Drove to Dutil Denim on Queen street because I was notified the night before they just got stock in. Arrived before they opened and they weren't even unpacked from the boxes.
So first I tried on size L and it was way smaller than what I wanted, then I tried on an XL but it was a bit too big, especially in the sleeves. They had plenty of stock so I tried on an other XL and YESSS! Fit was even better than my 14oz. Just some quick iphone pics. (I really need to clean this mirror)



I tried on a couple more (Scott who was helping me was awesome and patient, as always) but none compared to that third one I had on.
So I left with it.

Got home and have it on now.

Measured and Shoulders are 18.5" (iron heart way) Chest is 22" and Sleeve is 25.5" which is effing perfect imo!
So I now have my grail jacket in an ideal size! Never thought I would say this about an XL though haha. This has been a grail ever since I found out about Iron Heart last year and I'm so happy to now have it 🥰

I messaged the IH crew when ordering and asked for the longest sleeves possible. They let me know they were able to send me the longest sleeve measurement they in stock. Thanks to the IH crew and the excellent customer service

Totally! You’re so lucky you can just casually walk into Ironheart HQ and cherry pick the way you did. I’d love to do that someday. In Japan too! Feeling like I got really lucky with this jacket and the way it fits. Compared to the measurements online, the ones I tried on that didn’t at all fit and all of the ones Alex went through at HQ, it’s crazy I was able to get what I got.

Went for our morning walk @ 10°C and my thick hoodie felt perfect underneath.

So that original photo that you posted with Heath in a baseball cap was one of the determining factors of me wanting this jacket. Lighting was perfect and it was such an epic pic!
