IHSH-195-RED - Ombré Check Western Shirt - Red/Black

I’m planning on picking this up from Self Edge. Thinking of sizing up due to chest measurements but don’t know which way to go on this. It might be nice to not have to worry about washing and drying for a change, but don’t want the fit to end up too big either. What do you guys think?
There's lots of variables depending on your body type but I would stick with your normal size.

Damn both red and grey look good. @Dishelveled if you chose only one to get, which would it be?
Tough call, but got to give the nod to the brick. Just unique vs the similarity to the grey 130 and will sing when paired with OD giving a bit more pop vs.
If I didn't own the 130gb it'd be a tougher call cause its a hall of famer (though it is a different shade/pattern, weight and hand feel) I'll get some comparison shots between the two grey ombres when I get back home.
Not much help, Im sure, but go with your gut and sleep on it–you'll know the right call in the morning. Then buy the other from SE next month!

Ok so this shirt is nice. Super nice. The color is fantastic. I was really impressed with the feel of the fabric…how soft it is like other's have stated. I went with my normal size of XL and the fit is great. I'll get a decent fit pic up this weekend causes that's what all the cool kids are doing. Super happy with this shirt. Made up for my XL M65 not fitting

Fair enough - brick it is then…
Now to see about sizing. The 3XL measurements look close to the measurements on my XXL 188-GRY. Odd that the shoulders on the 3XL red are 0.5in narrower than the grey 3XL. -

Had to go up to 3XL for the shoulders but the other measurements seem like they won't be too voluminous. If I get in trouble with the wife for another IH shirt I'll just blame you @Dishelveled !

reminds me of the way the 23 was super brushed on the outside and not brushed on the inside

The 138 was also brushed on the outside and not the inside. Ironically, I’d love the opposite - Clean unbrushed look on the outside with the soft hand of single brushed interior.

agreed 100% but this is pretty sweet as is.
i'm just always bitching & moaning.
the good is the weight makes it something I can reach for 8 or 9 months out the year. one or a dozen folks have mentioned wanting the crew to make more items in this weight class and I get it.

I can see that. The horizontal pattern isn't as pronounced so gives it that striped look from afar
