That purple hint seems to come with the territory when trying to overdye any type of fabric black in my experience - i have never successfully achieved "true" black

@GraemeE thanks dude. I’m really happy with the result. They almost look more in line with the indigo version with the contrast stitching and slight purple hue.
I purposely used the whole bottle of dye hoping to get them as black as possible. The Vaseline trick on the soles worked wonders. The soles are just as clean and white as the new undyed pair.
No complaints at all. Stoked to find a pair that fit me!

@Chap i washes my indigo ones and my white slp canvas sneakers. Put em without laces in an empty pillow case and minimum spin/ 20 degrees c

I'm thinking of ordering some shoelaces for my white pair but want some opinions.
What do y'all think would look best with white IHSN? Blue, black or red shoelaces?
