That will inevitably happen. I think I just need to go through a phase with my favourite bits of kit where I like them so much new I want them stay that way forever. Then I remember how much lovelier everything is when it's been used hard. I was just looking at the IHVB-03CT thread and then looked at the current state of my pair as proof that this is true.
