The point is that your boring maybe someone elses exciting…..
I was smoking a fairly average cigar in Yacata, Fiji. One of the locals islanders came up to me and stared at the cigar with an open mouth for at least 30 seconds or so and then said "I saw one of those in a film once".......

I think the whole point of a WT is to share the daily minutiae of our lives, to bring your fellow tour participants into your every day grind. Personally I find great interest in the most seemingly mundane details, the big flashy stuff becomes like watching a fireworks display that goes on too long, whereas the reality of a persons existence will always hold my interest

Both of you present beautiful, valid points. My take on it is that I get to participate in a weird version of “the sisterhood of the traveling pants” and wear a garment for a while that I otherwise wouldn’t have. I’m not a big fan of sharing my minutiae on the internet, but I do enjoy seeing evolving IH gear on different people in different places. I think (hope) both takes are fine.

Ok…. the OD Lefty jacket is in and looks glorious.
Here are the measurements for the IH-526Lod in XL and XXL:
The measurements show that the XXL is slightly bigger than the XL SBG in the chest and shoulders, while the XL IH-526Lod is slightly smaller than the XL SBG. Interested parties can use the compare function to check this in detail. The thread for the OD Lefty also shows Alex in an XL and XXL (imho he suits the bigger size better).
My interest lies in getting as many as possible in on the tour and I expect the XXL will be the most popular size. However @Alex has agreed to save one of each for us until we decide, so that gives us the opportunity to have a quick poll.
If you are serious about getting in on the tour please cast your vote. If not, don't, as it will skew the results. The poll will be open for 24 hours.
