I think I'm in the same boat as thunder here… I had purchased a pair of Levi's 1947 501XX jeans prior to deciding on the IH-UHRs... now that Cone Mills has shut down I think it'd be cool to enter the most iconic denim in existence into the contest... I'll post my first month of aggregate wear on Feb 1st. That'll be the date I officially switch to those as my contest entry pair.

It'll be interesting to see how they stack up against the Japanese denim entries.

Edit: I think I'll enter two pairs. I just can't get over how comfortable these UHRs are... they're not exponentially warmer than the Levi's either, and those are ~14oz.

IHxVS777 at 84 wear days. Still look super black from a distance, but lots of grey starting to come through.

With IHTB-01.

And IH 526J-DD at 12 wear days. Kinda hard to account for a total day as I wear it every day but usually only for short periods.

Figured I would take some pictures before I wash my 888-NT. I’m about 70 days in on these and they’re coming along nicely. Super comfortable and the fit is A+
