Mid Size vs. Long Wallets

Generally speaking a mid size will  just be visible in your pocket, wheras a long wallet will stick out an inch or two, but this is also dependant on pocket size. I use IH's cordovan mid on an everyday basis. Here it is in the back pocket of a pair of W34 555-03

It's maybe that you want more wallet showing than is normal with a mid.

When it comes to wallet choice, price point makes a difference. There are lots of good or very good wallets at reasonable prices. The truly, over the top, ridiculous, great wallets cost.

Materials are important too. I was inbetween TFH long and the IH mid but decided I didn't want a wallet that would pick up a shit ton of indigo. Also the burgundy shell cordovan is such an amazing colour. I've had mine a year now and love it.
