            …yard work, in full swing til the first snow drops. Leaves are just starting to fall. The Gray Squirrels and I shall be taking care of business until the winds of Thor start blowing cold. ::) 🙂

              Got two rooms completely stripped of wallpaper this weekend. After the electrician moves/adds sockets, the plasterer will smooth everything out.

              There are some messed up holes. Especially where they screwed furniture into the wall. And the big hole above the fireplace is a power cable that was dropped down in the plaster for a tv.

              I can see why victorians had picture rails. I’ve pretty much decided to do no screws or nails into the walls to hang art.

              Been wearing my bleached out OD 21oz, the work is doing them well.

                    Finished fitting the Oak hardwood floor yesterday, fitting the skirting today.
                    5th week on the trot working 7 days a week 🥴

                            Now I need to find someone to build some floating shelves in fireplace alcoves, while the electrician and plasterer finish their work over the next few weeks.

                                  A friend of mine has a biodynamic wine estate. Usually giving him a helping hand during grape harvest and bottling. This year we filled some wine in 3l bag-in-boxes. From an ecological point of view this is much better then the usual double magnum bottles.

                                            3-4 houses a week we build timber frame start to finish it’s all prefabricated panels so mostly erected using a crane . General week ground floor panels on a Monday on 3 plots crane erect then , fitting floor cassettes ,load roof trusses up onto the floor cassettes.

                                            Tuesday/Wednesday build 3 roofs.

                                            Thursday- first floor panels so lift the roofs out with the crane stand all external panels when that’s done land the roofs back on , jump inside and stand internal panels by hand all shot down using a nail gun.

                                            Friday: easy day tidy up and set the following plots ready to go again Monday.

                                            Nothing really hard by go fast as you can lol .
