Contest day 1 with IH-555-02 18 oz, size 30. I've given them ~15 wears so far (a little over half of the days since receiving in early October). Today, they're paired with IH 526J-DD type III, IHSH1-193 flannel, IHT-1721 tee, Alden Natural Chromexcel Tanker Boots, my favorite Ebbets Field hat, and a cat to match the hat.

Its been two weeks from my last post, school has been busy as shit, missed official Nov 1st start shots, but hey, only been two weeks since my last post
So, I found these on the camera, forgot I took them, they were dated 10.25.17 so 2.5 weeks in. Selfie shot in a mirror right before work.
These are from tonight, couple more in the pics thread, 11.6.17. I missed the first official day of the contest, sorry, but I have pics from initial wear in the main thread from when I started them on 10.7.17. So I guess these are one month pics. I'll do an official 5 week pics this weekend when I can be around for some natural light.
Same light, taken minutes apart, just how the camera read the setting, I'm sure you can mess with editing software, but I'm not that smart. Just showing the difference the shot can make in terms of how the jeans look. Got some combs action going on already.
You can see the dog paw print on my knee, I just did a soak yesterday, which would have been number 6, get to do one again tonight. Thanks dog.

Hah, that's awesome. I'm wearing it again today, actually, but I'm definitely not in NYC at the moment.
Also, speaking of combs, as in a few posts up, I've been biking a decent bit while still slowly recovering from a stress fracture, so it'll be interesting to see if that changes how quickly the combs come in. Seems like maybe whiskers are already getting defined a bit more quickly than usual?

Wearing both my 888s and my 21oz double knee overalls. At the same time. I'm at the bar right now and I am realizing that this is probably too heavy to be practical. I went for a 2 mile walk and it felt like I was walking in quicksand. This might be good if a zombie outbreak should ever occur because there's no way something could bit through these both.

No posts for a week so I'll make one.
Mainly just because I don't want to forget. So Nov 5 was soak #6, Nov 7 was #7 (thanks dog), Nov 12 was #8 (weekly soak before work week starts)
Here we are, I'll find time to get pictures again this weekend (because I didn't make good on that promise last weekend!). It is that special time in a jeans life, where that vibrant blue/black is starting to coming out. The stuff where when the light isn't good you can't really see it, and the lens of the camera has a hard time picking it up, but in good light you can see it, and it is magical.

Is it too late to register for the contest? I've been tracking my fades daily on Instagram at DenimArtist112 https://www.instagram.com/p/BbmQks1nyfI/ , so you can see when I started…they aren't very heavyweight at 15oz, but since it is all denim weights this year I'd like to join in if possible.
