Giles, what would be the right size for me? Based on the former discussion, sizing is a bit confusing to me.
Usually, I am a waist 33 or 34 in IH pants. I am aiming at one hole tighter than the middle hole 
M or L?

I'd say M based on the fact that I'm a W36 in all my IH jeans and the M works for me on the 2nd from last (i.e. towards the tip) hole

ok, I suppose that the holes are one inch apart so I would end up in the middle hole which would also be ok.
Suppose that there is also some stretch with wear.
Think I will go with an M… thanks a lot!

@jay-cy You could go with a size L and then use a scalpel / carpet knife with a steady hand to get the right size, this is what i´ve done…
