Alright, I need some opinions on whether to keep trade/sell. Got this guy off Beatle and thought it was going to be the long version. Unfortunately, it's the regular, which doesn't typically jive with my dimensions. (Don't mind the jeans. I know they're too small, but for all the trouble I went through with the guy selling them, I'm going to make it a priority to force a fit out of them…eventually.) Anyway, the jacket: yay or nay? It' a 38R, if anyone is interested.

ok maybe it is supposed to fit like that but still it looks kinda off.
just ask yourself the question, are you confident to wear the jacket like this in public or not?(maybe uzipped would look better?!)

It looks a bit pouchy in the middle, eh? That's possibly because I'm wearing a Buzz crew neck underneath. I'll take a couple more flics with a flannel and/or a T underneath and some better fitting jeans and see if it works better.

good idea. try a couple outfits and combinations and see if it works. then decide to keep or not

Currently patiently awaiting the arrival of my BR X WG N1 (hook version sold by SE). I could have probably gone with a 42, but they only had a 44 left, and as it's going to be my main winter coat I'm going to need room for layering. Pics as soon as it arrives.

Could it be that Buzz Rickson's sizing is hardly consistent? As far as I can tell, I'd be an L in the M65 WG, an XL in the M-43 and XXL in the N1 WG…. The M65 is probably designed to allow for layering, but still... Maybe it's because they design every model to be as historical exact as possible? Probably every store on rakuten measures differently too. I look at measurements on rakuten and mostly compared shoulder width btw. But I'm no expert on sizing and such and probably won't buy a BR jacket anytime soon. Just wondering.
Great purchase, Megatron! Looking forward to those pics!
