THE NIGHT OF - promising. Watching part 3 later today.
THE THICK OF IT - if you like Bwitish humour and are into politics, this is necessary stuff.
RECTIFY - best series made in the 00's?.. I think so… Three seasons thus far...
LUCK - best series made in the 00's?.. Wait... Gutted that season 2 never came to fruition...
AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS OJ SIMPSONS - if you liked MAKING A MURDERER, you'll like this...
MR ROBOT - despite jumping the shark at the end of last season, it's still solid... Last episode was nasty!..
ARCHER season 6 and 7 - it's back (to form), it's badass, it's brilliant...
GOMORRA season 1 and 2 - re-watching S01, have 02 lined up... Based on the bok, this is about an Italian mob family and its rivals and escapades... Be careful: lot of rips have HORRIBLE English subs... I had to download Dutch subs cause I was laughing too hard at the English traslations...
BLOODLINE - lined up... Supposedly good...
BRON/ BROEN (The Bridge) - on S01... Pretty good but not 100% my thing... Probs quitting after 1 season... Just as I did with FORBRYDELSEN (The Killing)...
FORTITUDE - re-viewing S01 in anticipation of S02... Killer stuff
THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE - lined up
FARGO S02 - better than S01, some of the best stuff ever made.
TREME S04 - wanna give it a second go... Might start with S01 even... Treme was (too) slow-paced but absolutely gorgeous to watch and superbly intelligent... -
The Night Of - also watched first two parts. Very promising.
Vice Principals - watched pilot. Some funny bits. Worth checking out.
Peaky Blinders - Haven't seen season 3. Worth watching the first two seasons for costume design alone.
The Path - A hulu original. Not too bad. Has some serious scientology cult inspirations.
Silicon Valley - pretty hilarious. Worth watching even though sometimes it will drive you crazy. -
Giles and I watched episodes 3 to 8 of STRANGER THINGS yesterday - it's ages since we had a TV watching marathon, but the weather was crap and we were tired and it was GREAT!

John Turturro is good. And I see this is another show borrowed, stolen ripped off from the Brits. I have to see the original. One of the good points of the web is I can find the original series.
I like Peaky too-and agree about costume design.
My grandfather served in the AEF in the Great War ,his brother in the East Lancs. They had interesting attitudes and would answer questions in a straightforward way no matter what the subject, unlike most of the other adults in my childhood. -
I like Turturro, but originally the part was meant to go to Jimmy (Gandolfini)… His unexpected death quite got in the way of him performing, so they asked Johnny... This is also why James is mentioned as a producer on the opening credits...
Interesting @Seul . I saw his credit and wondered how he produced…from the grave.

Just watched the finale for Season 3 of The Wire.

Currently on my third re watch of The Wire, amazing still.
Also rewatching Battlestar Galactica, the best pure Sci Fi show ever made.
I treat TV shows like books, there are certain ones I will revisit time after time.
