How do you guys 'dress' the reddish edge/welt on acron stows?

Is there a polish or something that matches the color that can be used for touch ups?

I'd use light tan polish, but any shade of tan would do.  You really can't feck the edge, it's side grain, so will 'age" quicker than the rest of the boot/shoe.  You could put ox-blood on that and it it was too dark/wrong colour, in a week it wouldn't be….

In my opinion, they feel alright - pretty useless in winter, though.

I run them down quite fast and have them replaced with ridgeway or commando soles…

Yeah dainite soles have crappy traction.  Commando is the way to go.

Agreed, danite can be slippery in the rain. Way better than leather but slippery nonetheless. (Unless you're talking about Viberg's that use danite, you can't say they're slippery because no one is allowed to say a bad word about Viberg )

Crappy dainite soles and underwhelming CXL leather were the main reason I sold a pair of Vibergs.
