Looks stunning, @neph93. Just curious, how do you size your vest? Do you get your "normal" IH size? I always have noticed the pit to pit and other measurements are always a little different on vests.
Thank you. Slightly tricky question to answer simply. It all depends on the vest and how you want to wear it.
First off, I take XL in shirts. Generally if I want a vest to wear just over a tee then I take an L. Over a hoodie or layers then XL. Some of my favourite work vests are M though, and I have at least one heavy quilted vest that is L but I wear over layers.
The key is not to equate p2p on a vest to p2p on a shirt. As a rule the armholes on vests are bigger than on shirts and therefore lower down. The measurement you need is often smaller as a result.
The next thing is length. Some people want vests in or even above the belt, some want a waistcoat fit where the vest covers the waistband and belt. So this is important to check too.

That makes sense. When looking at the pit to pit, I normally take a 23.2 or so, but that would mean an xxxl. It seems like I should just get a XXL or XL.

Oof, this pic makes this vest look even more appealing.
I almost never wear vests over shirts (with the exception of The Viking Kitty) but I had to try this. I don’t own an IHSH-21 so a IHSH-119 has to do. I also can’t do buttoned sleeves or shirt tails hanging out, so that got changed. In addition I don’t own a Harley so I subbed in a toy ambulance. But I’m nearly there [emoji23]

I also got a few more small ones incoming so I will choose which composition makes the most sense. I like both colours, but think the green one is still my favorite. -

Cheers guys. I indeed have a close and special relationship with the band. Got a third option incoming but that design is my favorite, also got a signed print from the artist framed so the choice is pretty easy.

In this sense, only an ‚Iron to the Bone‘ patch is missing on the inside of the vest.
