Any idea of the difference between a Johannes and a Foot Patrol?

I don’t believe there is one. If I understand it right, Foot Patrol was what Giles and Chris came up with when IH and Wesco dreamt up the design, Johannes is Wesco’s own name for it.

Same here. The four month wait seemed like it took forever. Mine have been shipped out from Baker’s and should arrive early next week.

It’s a good sign for me in that the shipping weight is 7 pounds. Love heavy duty sh*& kicking boots.

Yes Sir. Ended up going without the bump toe since I already have a lot of boots with a bump toe including the Viberg’s in the pic.

Classic stuff @tvenuto I love burlap with the honey coloured lugs. I’m also increasingly enjoying the standard lacing pattern on the Jobmasters. With the right leather:stitching combo it is seriously badass.

Yea, I'm in love with these. I put them on after wearing a pair of Thorogoods that have been my only boots for 2 years. It was obvious that these haven't yet been properly broken in, but their potential is apparent immediately. Also, the custom last was an absolute must. Note in the straight down shot how the pinky toe area bumps out a bit. If I had to guess, I'm effectively getting a 10.5 mid and forefoot while keeping a 10 heel to stay locked in. This is why I'm always unhappy with the boot fit: I'm either smashed in the forefoot, or my heel is sliding around.

Thanks for the complements, all, I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes them. Everything came out better than I envisioned, and the result is that I'm itching to put together another custom build. Can't wait to get these guys a little bit uglier.

Anyone know if wesco can build a romeo on the 9109? I think thatd look cool but im not sure ive ever seen a pic of one w a bump toe.

Interesting question, and I suspect it might be best to contact Wesco directly about that.

I'd be interested in seeing such a build, just out of curiosity.
