wouldn't that have been the fabric from the original ih-701's looks the same, and weight very similar.
bet the fabric from the ihsh-134 and ih-712 green and grey herringbone fabric would make pretty epic shorts

That 34 in olive is also tempting. I hope you bring them back in more iterations and fabrics.

In my haste to try and get a pair of these it didn't occur to me to look at the measurements. A 34 will fit me just fine, so I got the last pair.

Can anyone who has received their shorts, or who owns any Mercerized 707s, comment about the fabric? Are they very shiny and having a soft hand? I can't even express how elated I am to be getting these. I wish I didn't have to wait until next week.

I have the 707 - they are still very shiny even after a machine wash and tumble dry and yes, they are quite soft.
My Camp Shorts are currently stacked awaiting the next "can't miss" item that drops, so you will be able to experience the serge before me

Thanks pal. I had them hold onto mine because I'll be in Montana for a week and I can't sign for them. I need to make friends with the neighbors (to sign for my package) but they are totally afraid of me.

Ehh neighbors are always a fickle situation - some are great, most are terrible.
Have you used the UPS store pick up location option with the upsmy choice app? If I know the weather is gonna be bad and don't want UPS to drop the package on the doorstep I have them divert it to a USP store location for me. It usually gets there before it would get to my door actually. Convenient and free!
Who am I kidding… I divert packages so I can pick them up without the wife knowing haha

Very matt and very soft….We have not made exactly this combination of fabric and dye before...It is the same fabric as the 706 but we sulphur dyed for the 715 and reactive dyed for the 706...

@Appfaff haha that's pretty funny. I decided to dump my girlfriend about 3 weeks ago when I showed her a picture of Ruedi's Beatle Busters and she said, "they're stupid, and creepy."

If anyone picked up a 34 in the green and are having second thoughts, I'll happily take them.
