I actually had an unfortunate incident today… Went to leave work, and saw a kitten run under my car. I started my car, and he didn't leave... I had to turn off my car and shimmy underway to make him leave, which scraped up my 02-DD. Doesn't look "bad", but it has some serious abrasion on it.... Hope it blends in with natural fadings in the long run.

On another note that layering you've got going on @UnTucked is cool, I'm wearing my IHSH-85 over my wabi vest today. Shirts layered over vests is an underrated combo, I think.

Honestly, I'm just forcing myself to wear as many layers as possible while I can… Maximizing wear time while the weather is cool/mild here in Okinawa, lol

I'm still not sure I understand that concept, or embrace it fully, but imho, some wear and tear is good, but allowing things to get fucked up by neglect is not wabisabi. Scrapes and other evidence of damage through use is wabisabi, but big fat holes and rips just means it's broken to me…

Getting sick fades from saving kittens… Sounds very Japanese + makes for a cool story.
