We met with Tanden Launder of Thrux Lawrence sort of by chance in Yokohama in May of this year.  We loved the fact that his products are no nonsense, no compromise, stubborn as…....stuff.  So we tweaked some of the details to (in mine and Haraki's eyes at least  ) improve what was already a great product.

Like our jeans, this pack will need wearing in, it will mould to you and your body and become a comfortable friend for life.  The zips going to tough at first, but they will ease up with use.

I've been to TL's shop in CDA a couple times. It's a cool space, and they take quality very seriously. Great people, too.

Something worth pointing out is that the IH-TL1 is a great size for a carry-on here in Australia, and some budget European flights.

These airlines use the 105 cm bag size for domestic flights, which is a 48 cm x 34 cm x 23 cm / 19" x 13.5" x 9" box. The TL1 is 17" x 13.5" x 7.5", so you could slightly overfill, and still get away with it.

[I'm assuming, by your statement, you just can't substitute the present canvas for 21oz denim & construct it using the present process TL use].

Correct, the 21 and indeed the 25 are not really meaty enough,  so we have to bond to a base fabric to give us the heft required…..

Bond the double duck to something beefy.  Natural leather might look awesome with the double indigo duck.
