i really hope the yenim problems aren't terminal… i asked kiya at SE if it would be a dense/tough denim like the 18oz (devils), but he said it was way more pliable and now i'm so curious how it will turn out (how will it wear/fade/stretch/etc...).

I got an email that the 17oz Type III is ready just now.  I got no such email for the 18oz, I patiently wait….

The shipment got held up.  Delay now until Friday at best - sorry….

It is not a 2016 release.

It is cotton satin like the last release, but we have bonded a film on the reverse of the fabric which is (expected to be) waterproof, breathable and washable.  Haraki is going "test drive" the jacket for a few months to confirm the viability of the concept.

If it is successful, then we will release the updated spec M65 next year.

If that is not exciting enough on it's own, if it does work, we can apply the concept to denim and create waterproof, breathable, washable denim garments…..
