Hi there! Yeah I went up a size in the vest purely for the length… got a long body.
The chest size jump isn't so great that I can't get away with it too, so if you suffer from a long torso keep that in mind.

I'm torn between the Large and XL. I am consistent with sizing matching up to Giles on my deck jacket and all my uhf. This says he's a large but the chest measurement scares me. 21.5" chest shirts work for me but are tight so I keep thinking I should do the XL. But I also don't want the vest big and sloppy. Suggestions?

Just recently got one of these this past week. After thinking it over and talking with Alex, I went with an XL, and I wear a XXL in the IHSH-126-PB. I did not want a sloppy fit, and am glad I went with the XL.

I also don't really button it shut much so far. It's a cool vest.

I also sized down on the vest. Typically wearing XL in IH shirts I went for L in this vest. Still I can wear it comfortably over any shirt - including UHFs.
